I live in Florida with my husband, Josh, and our all-black cat named Chaos, who also responds to "Hey stop that." and "Cat". She enjoys living up to her name by wreaking utter chaos at around 2 a.m. 

When I'm not writing or editing, I enjoy reading (fantasy, thrillers, and crime fiction), drinking tea (Earl gray or herbal, especially Chamomile blends), and experimenting in the kitchen (results are usually edible).

I’ve always loved reading and writing. I was the kid who always had a book under her arm, who preferred the wonderful, thrilling, and mysterious worlds over reality, and considered anything that interrupted my reading time an inconvenience.

I still love to read, whether it's meeting new characters and experiencing new worlds, or going back to familiar re-reads. Lately, though, it seems that the most popular books have all begun including unnecessary explicit content. So, one of my biggest inspirations for the stories I'm writing is to be able to produce clean, God-honoring fiction, without limiting my books solely to the "Christian Fiction" genre. My books will never include cussing, vulgarity, smut, or sexual content, and most of them will have Christian, Biblical themes to varying degrees.
